My spreadsheet of former lab members has 149 rows. There are a couple of repeats (e.g., Noelle Romero and Sarah Radford did summer undergraduate programs, then came back to UNC and joined the lab for their PhD research). My count has:

Many of us on the lab have participated in various types of training relating to mentorship. In my case (JS), I've done the BBSP Mentoring Workshop for Biomedical Researchers twice (once as a facilitator), as well as CIMER Culturally Aware Mentoring and some others. I was on a study section that reviews T32 training grants for NIGMS for six years, the final year as chair. I wrote a T32 that got renewed (years 41-45!), then the new T32 that got funded, and co-wrote (with Dan McKay) the renewal of that (no FOA yet, but priority score of 13).
