Some Tips

Scientists often for patterns in the world around them. Do these patterns already exist, or are they creations of our minds, rules thought up to impose order on an inherently chaotic universe? In this series, Sekelsky searches for patterns hidden within a seemingly ordered array: the 8x12 pipette tip tray. Some patterns are successful, others less so; some even reveal an underlying chaos. But all are fleeting - they are lost or broken as additional tips are used. Each newly filled tray, however, presents an opportunity to set off in new directions and explore previously uncharted lands.
